Tokki and macarron
Today we wandered downtown as part of our shopping walk, and since a weekend is a time for peace and relaxation, we went to a candy store after shopping (to help the boy wrap his nerves in candies). But we didn’t go to just any candy store, the girl always has something special, as she is very spoiled, so we went to her favorite Patisserie Saint-Tropez.
She says she has been going there for a couple of years now and she and the boy have been there before, but today was my first time there (so I don’t know if they were there before I started being their boss or if they went there on a secret date without me… pch). Anyway, we were anxious again if I would be able to enter (it’s almost a ritual now – worrying at every door if they’ll let us in or not).
And we were allowed in, and I was even able to come out of my carry-bag and delight some of the guests and staff with my presence. I love people who rub me, cuddle me, and when they smell like a food, that’s when I love them the most. The gentleman from the patisserie even brought me a bowl of water and even though when we were outside I didn’t want to drink (see outside the two bipeds give me a drink from a tasteless blue, collapsible rubber bowl) but from that beautiful porcelain bowl in the patisserie it would be a sin not to drink.
While the bipeds got brought the cupcakes, I was rolling under the table and then the girl got an idea, as if I could get something too, so she jumped to get me a macaroon and the nice man brought me a special cookie, because I am just cute and everyone likes me. Both were delicious without question, only the cakes wouldn’t be allowed to taste, they said I’d be fat and other mean things. The gentleman saw what a bunch of cheap bipeds I have and he brought me another cookie. Yummy. I didn’t even want to go home, but the lady promised that we would come back soon, because they don’t have better cakes and macaroons anywhere else. And I say they don’t have better cookies and nicer water bowls anywhere else.
